Before a new fit-out could start, asbestos found in the existing linings had to come out. SES set up an enclosure on the stripped floor with twin negative air units, flexible ducting and HEPA filtration, and a decontamination unit behind dust-hazard barriers.
The removal was completed, cleared and documented so the fit-out contractor started on their programmed date.
