A sealed negative-pressure enclosure built inside a working office for Class A removal - differential pressure logged, air monitoring pumps running and an independent assessor on site throughout.
The client needed friable asbestos removed from a small area of an office floor without sending staff home. SES built a sealed enclosure on the spot, ran it under negative pressure with HEPA-filtered extraction and set up a decontamination unit at the entry, so the rest of the floor stayed open.
Air monitoring pumps ran inside and outside the enclosure for the whole job, the differential pressure recorder logged the enclosure continuously, and an independent assessor inspected and air-tested before clearance. The office had its space back within the week.
Project scope:
- Class A (friable) asbestos removal under WorkSafe notification
- Sealed negative-pressure enclosure with HEPA extraction and logged differential pressure
- Decontamination unit, airlock and bag lock at the enclosure entry
- Air monitoring throughout and independent clearance inspection
- Occupied office kept open - staff worked around the enclosure
