House deconstruction - roof and framing taken apart for salvage

SES DemolitionResidentialCompleted

Roof off and the house taken down frame by frame by hand, with timber sorted for salvage rather than crushed by machine.

The client wanted the building taken apart rather than flattened. SES removed the roofing first, then dismantled the house frame by frame so the straight timber could be salvaged and the rest sorted into recycling streams.

The slab was left clear for the next stage of the build.

Project scope:
  • Roof removal and hand deconstruction
  • Timber salvaged and sorted
  • Recycling streams for the remainder
  • Slab left clear
  • Diversion summary supplied
