An item of plant in an industrial yard was contaminated with asbestos and could not be dismantled safely on site. SES brought in a mobile crane, set up an exclusion zone and lifted the plant whole into a skip bin lined with heavy poly.
The crew in full PPE wrapped and sealed the load in the bin for transport to a licensed disposal facility, and the yard was cleaned and cleared the same day.
